“Yes… A little.” Sam admitted, laughing.  Quinn’s eyes snap towards the screen, and in that very second another muder happened. He couldn’t help but laugh harder, but then, those bad feelings took over him again. “I..” He started, but didn’t know what to say. “I don’t know.” He glanced at the TV, but not really paying attention to the movie. Actually, all that blood seemed to be far, far away. “I think..” He continued, looking at her. “I miss you, Quinn. I miss our relationship, and having fun with you during Glee Club. The Sectionals thing, everything.” He sighed, now staring at the floor. “I sound so cheesy and stupid!” Sam gave her a weak laughter. “But, honestly.. I like you, Fabray. A lot.” The boy said firmly. He always had troubles with words, but he wanted to be honest with her.

Quinn’s mind was far from the horrors on the screen as she tried to absorb what Sam was saying to her. He wasn’t serious, was she? After how’d they’d broken up, she’d never even considered this being a possibility, and thought of herself as lucky that they’d managed to be friends, even, and had always been grateful that he’d forgiven her. And now he had feelings for her? She didn’t even know what to say.

He was waiting for her reaction, and she could feel his nervous gaze on her. She’d missed him an awful lot, too, honestly. She didn’t know where she stood on her feelings (Quinn had always been bad about determining her feelings) so she decided to go with what she knew, she didn’t know how she felt about him - this had happened so fast for her - but she did know she’d missed him. “You don’t sound stupid, Sam,” she smiled warmly, but tentatively, “I miss you, too.”

"Of course I do, Quinn." He laughed, a little embarrassed, and looked at her, trying to find a smarter thing to say but, somehow, he just couldn’t. "I usually don’t.. talk about feelings. I mean, it’s something hard.” Sam shrugged. “I think I’m making you uncomfortable.” He glanced at the floor, laughing. “Sorry.”

"Stevie and Stacey love you. I mean, if you think I miss you, you should’ve seen them. A day without and they’re like: Sam, where’s Quinn?" He grinned. "I’m serious."

Sam knew Quinn was scared. Or else, under normal circumstances, she wouldn’t clung to him. Not at all. After their confusing break-up, they barely talked to each other. Now things were getting different, and he felt happy about it, but didn’t know were this was heading. “Actually, no. I’m not scared.” He laughed. “Things like that don’t exist, Quinn.” Sam smiled to her, trying to make her feel better. “And it’s not gross.. It’s art, Fabray.” He told her. Sam looked at Quinn, and, for a moment, he felt sad. Sad because they messed things up. With Finn. With Santana. And everything else. He sighed. “I’m sorry, Quinn.” Sam said, almost whispering. He realised the blonde girl was a little confused. “I mean.. for everything.” Sam looked at her.

“I know,” she said, “it’s still creepy, though, isn’t it?” Quinn shielded her eyes yet again from another murder on the screen before turning back to him. He didn’t look scared, amused, or even happy. He looked upset. What could he possibly be sorry for? she wondered, her face completely confused. He’d never done anything wrong. “What are you sorry for, Sam? You didn’t do anything wrong, you know.” She wanted to add that it had been all her, that she’d screwed up, done something stupid and hadn’t realized what she’d had until it was all gone. But she didn’t really want to admit to that, though she knew it was true - Sam had treated her like a princess.

"Yes… A little." Sam admitted, laughing.  Quinn’s eyes snap towards the screen, and in that very second another muder happened. He couldn’t help but laugh harder, but then, those bad feelings took over him again. "I.." He started, but didn’t know what to say. "I don’t know." Of course, Avatar was his favorite movie and, also, the best movie ever. But the boy was really keen on horror movies as well. Sam saw Quinn’s panic face and couldn’t help but laugh. “It’s okay if you don’t want to watch scary movies, Quinn.” He said, but, somehow, Sam knew Quinn wouldn’t give up. She would never admit her weaknesses, like horror movies. So, the girl chose a five-star one. “Bad choice if you’re afraid of scary movies. Usually the most rated ones are the scarriest.” He whispered to her, smirking.

After five minutes of it, Sam looked at her. Quinn’s eyes were almost closed. “Come on.” He smiled, almost laughing, passing his right arm through her body and pulling her closer, holding her waist, and the girl’s head rested on his chest. “Feeling better, Quinnie?” Sam asked.

“I can handle it,” she told him, putting on a brave face. When Sam said things like that, it only encouraged her more to click the play button - of course she could handle it. “I’m not afraid,” she insisted.

But within five minutes she was hiding her eyes, regretting her pride earlier, wishing she’d picked a comedy. Maybe even “Avatar”. “Don’t tell me you aren’t scared, too,” she mumbled, knowing he found her funny. She felt a little safer with his arm around her, it reminded her that they were on the couch, and the movie was on the screen, not real. Nevertheless, she jumped fairly high during the next horrific scene, almost out of her seat, then clung to him tighter. She felt him smirking at her and she shook her head, “Don’t laugh! That was horrible… and gross,” she told him, closing any previous distance between them, and reminded herself it was just a dumb movie, and to stop acting like such a little girl.

Hey Sam! How was your summer?

Mike! It was good, but a little boring. Just working and taking care of my siblings. What about you?

Working out my abs and taking singing lessons. I want to get more sols this year.

Oh, good luck with that. You’re the best dancer, imagine if you beat Finn and his singing. Haha. I need to work out. With the job thing, I have no time at all.

“Only a dozen times?” Inquired Sam, laughing. “Sorry, I thought it was more.” He admitted, looking at her. “I’m the worst friend ever. I mean, I made you watch that movie a thousand times. How could you agree with that?” He asked, frowning. “If I were you I’d punch me. Seriously.” He laughed again, taking a seat next to her and relaxing his body. “Well..” He thought, and noticed her shimmery green eyes were eyeing him attentively, so, he instantly looked down. “As we’re definitely not watching Avatar.. Let’s watch a scary movie.” Sam said, excited. “I know they’re not your favorite kind of movie but, if you’re too scared, I’ll let you hold my hand.” He arched an eyebrow and smirked. What the hell are you doing, dude? - He thought to himself, but it was something he couldn’t avoid.

Quinn overall liked watching “Avatar” with Sam, he impersonated the voices, knew the soundtrack, and reacted to everything as if it was his first time seeing it, and she found it quite adorable. But enough was enough, Quinn wasn’t very fond of the movie itself. “A scary movie?” she asked, not fond of the bloody, gory stuff. “Well, with that kind of offer, how can I refuse,” she teased, wandering through the selections and picking the first one with 5 stars that she saw, not really caring. As the haunting music opened the film, her first instinct was to cuddle close to Sam, but she mentally slapped herself and sat upright, trying to ignore the images on the screen. Which resulted in squeezing her eyes shut so she didn’t see.

“It’s alright, but I’ve watched it about a dozen times with you,” she grinned, shutting the door behind him as they walked into the TV room. Quinn heard him pause in his sentence, and she was sure of what she was going to say. Sometimes she had to remind herself, too. She wasn’t his girlfriend anymore, she’d ruined that pretty well. She flopped down on the large, nice leather couch moving over to make room for him, reminding herself just to act normal and relax. It was only Sam, right? “What kind of movie are you in the mood for - funny? scary? sad?” she asked, looking at him.

Quinn put her hair up in a high ponytail and waited for Sam’s arrival. Despite their breakup, they’d managed to stay friends somehow, which was nice, because she did enjoy spending time with Sam. She heard the doorbell ring and descended down the stairs to meet him, and opened the door. “Sam. Hey,” she greeted with a wide smile. She considered giving him a hug, but decided against that. “Oh. Come in,” she stepped aside, leaving room for him to enter.

"Quinn!" He greeted her slowly, looking at her. The blonde was gorgeous as always, and he couldn’t help but give her a warm smile, a little nervously. "So.." He started, at first he was choosing the best words, but them he remembered: it was Quinn. Above all, she was his friend. All he had to do was act naturally. "No Avatar." He muttered out, looking at her and gave her a small grin as he entered her house and they walked towards her TV room. "I didn’t know it bores you so much! I still think that’s the best movie ever." He crossed his arms defensively. "We used to watch it a thousand times when we.." Dated, he completed the sentence in his mind. “We met.” He sighed.

@Quinn - (Not) watching Avatar.

Sam left his house making sure his siblings were happy and safe with his mother. He loved taking care of them, but sometimes he needed some free time. And Quinn was his first friend at school, so, why not? He promised to himself he would forget her and everything she meant for him.. But things were just too hard. Sam didn’t know if he still had feelings for her. He arrived at her house by foot. Fortunately, his house was five minutes away from hers. He was still saving money for his car, and that’s why he was working at Comics & Store.

He rang the doorbell, waiting for her.
